With all characters shown off now, we figured that Street Fighter 6 may be cooling off in terms of reveals and details regarding the game, but that's not the case after all.

Capcom just announced the Street Fighter 6 Showcase for next week hosted by Lil Wayne, which promises to include "big news and announcements."

The SF6 Showcase event is scheduled to last around 30 minutes in total as noted in Capcom's announcement post, and though the text doesn't say what's going to be included, the trailer does give us some sneak peeks.

There's a few new clips of SF6's World Tour story mode included in the footage that suggests we're finally going to be seeing a decent bit more of what the adventure is going to have to offer players.

It's only on screen for like a second, but they also reveal what appears to be a brand new costume for Kimberly that really make her look ready to tag everything around her with spray paint.

The special event is going to be hosted by rapper Lil Wayne, although we should probably expect to see some appearances of people like SF6 Director Takayuki Nakayama and Producer Shuhei Matsumoto to explain more of what we'll be seeing.

The Street Fighter 6 Showcase is scheduled to take place next Thursday, April 20, at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET, and the stream can be found here on Street Fighter's YouTube page and the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel.

Capcom is also going to hold an official pre-show for the showcase too hosted by Suzi the Sphere Hunter and Jirard the Completionist at 2:30 p.m. PT to apparently go back over everything we already know / have seen about SF6.

Since Cammy is the last character theme to be revealed for the game (considering they just released Lily's music last night), there's a decent chance her song will be included in the broadcast too unless it pops up before then.

Although it would be pretty funny, we won't be hearing Lil Wayne as an in-game commentator for SF6 since WWE's Zelina Vega and Japanese actress Hikaru Takahashi were previously revealed as the last inclusions for the base game.

Street Fighter 6 is still on track to release on June 2, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
