Update: Rick Sanchez now available in MultiVersus
Update: Rick Sanchez is now available to use in MultiVersus. In celebration of Rick's release, a new gameplay trailer and showcase for Rick have also been unveiled. Check them out after the jump.
Earlier: Morty's been playable in MultiVersus for quite some time now, but you can't just have the boy without his crazy grandpa.
Player First Games announced today that Rick Sanchez will be launching as MultiVersus' next character tomorrow, September 26, along with revealing a handful of his scientific abilities.
As a mage type fighter, Rick will come packing a variety of attacks that'll pack a punch from a distance, so he doesn't have to get his hands dirty with all this mumbo jumbo.
Meeseek and Destroy summons a Meeseeks that performs 1 of 3 follow-ups between running forward, throwing an uppercut or pulling out a golf club.
Basrick Portal Theory allows Rick to place up to 2 portals on the stage, which may work similarly to Bugs' tunnel to allow for teammates and projectiles to pass through.
And then there's Yeah, Fart Bomb! It's a fart bomb that launches enemies skyward.

There's plenty more Rick will have up his sleeve in terms of his moveset, but looks like we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see for ourselves.
Pervious new MultiVersus characters have cost 3,000 coins or 700 Gleamium (~$7) to purchase, so look for Rick to be priced similarly.
