From a black swimsuit to the memed bunny costume, here's Abbey_Titania pulling off the female Byleth cosplay in unique outfits

Although there were six characters (via the Fighters Pass Vol. 2) that were released after Byleth as DLC in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Byleth is technically the youngest character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in terms of the dates of each character's first video game appearance. Fire Emblem: Three Houses was originally released on July 26, 2019, which actually came after Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's release on on December 7, 2018.

Of the characters released for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC, Byleth is actually a fairly unique candidate. One of their unique traits is that there are actually male and female variants of the character that can be selected at the character select screen before starting a match. Since there is a female form, Abbey_Titania took this as an opportunity to cosplay as the stoic professor of the Garreg Mach Monastery.

What's unique about Abbey_Titania's portrayal of female Byleth is her choice of outfits. It seems that Abbey_Titania isn't just taking up the challenge of looking like the Three Houses protagonist in just the character's default mercenary appearance.

First up is Abbey_Titania as Byleth as she appears in her black swimsuit. Though it's not possible to use the character like this in Fire Emblem: Three Houses or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (without modding), this version of Byleth does appear in Fire Emblem Heroes.

While teaming up with Rhea in a similar attire in Fire Emblem Heroes, Byleth and Rhea together are referred to as "Byleth: Fell Star's Duo." In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, certain characters refer to Byleth as "Fell Star," which is some sort of reference to Sothis. Needless to say, both of these characters have plot-important ties to the goddess known as Sothis.

With this appearance, she is wearing a black two-piece swimsuit. However, the professor is also wearing sandals and a cape that covers part of her back.

Though the "Ashen Demon" might look vulnerable without her normal attire and gear, it's clear that this character is prepared for dangerous situations even while partaking in swimming activities. Even while the Sword of the Creator is nowhere to be seen, Byleth is seemingly ready to make use of that visible dagger at any given moment.

Abbey_Titania's portrayal of Byleth in a swimsuit isn't just faithful to the character's look from the front, but also from the back as well. In certain pieces of official Fire Emblem Heroes artwork for Byleth: Fell Star's Duo, we can see that quite a bit of hindleg is revealed due to the nature of the swimsuit.

Next is Byleth in her dancer outfit. Although the professor is able to take up the appearance of the dancer class in Fire Emblem: Three Houses via DLC, it's worth noting that the character can never actually use the dancer class as it is reserved for students.

Of course, there probably isn't a better reason to use the professor as the dancer class other than for the outfit anyhow. In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Byleth is one of the best units in the game (arguably the absolute best), and the dancer class is a class that, while very useful, supports allies rather than fights.

Still, it's difficult not to appreciate the look of the dancer outfit on this character, and Abbey_Titania ends up flaunting it beautifully.

Of course, we have to include shots of Abbey_Titania donning Byleth's default female appearance. Based on the color of Abbey_Titania's hair in these photos, this must've taken place after the Ashen Demon's escape from the void after a certain event in Three Houses' story.

For the costume to be complete, Abbey_Titania had someone 3D print the Sword of the Creator. Needless to say, it looks like the type of weapon that foes wouldn't want to contend with.

Uniquely, Abbey_Titania was also apparently inspired to portray Byleth as she wears a bunny outfit. While this appearance isn't canonical, it's become something of a meme thanks to fan art.

Funnily enough, it's actually kind of easy to visualizing a scenario that has the incredibly powerful "Ashen Demon" wearing a bunny outfit due to her stoic personality. As mentioned before, however, this appearance is noncanonical.
