Tons of exciting Street Fighter 6 news rolled out from Tokyo Game Show today as Capcom revealed four new playable characters as well as new details on the upcoming title's various modes.

Not only have we learned more about World Tour and Battle Hub, but we've also been introduced to a brand new "Extreme Battle" mode. Read on for more on all three.

We already knew that World Tour would give players the opportunity to explore an open world in the third person with a custom character, but now we've gotten an idea of just how customizable said characters will be.

Capcom showed off some of the options we'll have for making these avatars our very own, and it's safe to say we'll likely not see any two designed in the exact same way.

From jaw lines to the amount of dye players might want to put in numerous kinds of hair styles, from body types to clothing and accessories, and from the kinds of familiar Street Fighter attacks they'll use in battle, World Tour avatars will all have plenty of personalized flavor.

We also learn a bit about how our WT characters will interact with the various non-player characters they encounter, most all of which will "never back down from a challenge, and will seamlessly transition from conversation into battle."

Battle Hub is a mode in which players can take their customized avatars, and serves as a lobby to find matches with others over the internet. Here you can engage in single matches as well as in tournaments, all of which can be observed by those in Battle Hub mode.

Users will also have the chance to play older Capcom titles on mini arcade machines here in the Game Center portion of Battle Hub. So far we've spotted Final Fight and Street Fighter 2, though we suspect more will be revealed later.

Finally the never before seen Extreme Battle mode was also shown. Here players can experience Street Fighter in unique ways as they add unconventional parameters to every match they engage in.

Special rules and gimmicks can be applied here to add in things like stage hazards that will surely affect the flow of battle by adding in an element of random chaos. Users can also change the requirements for victory in this mode as goals such as "first to five knockdowns" can replace the traditional health bar standard.
