New Nintendo Direct to air tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET
It's been announced that a new Nintendo Direct will be airing tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET. According to Nintendo of America, this presentation will feature nearly 40 minutes of information focused on Nintendo Switch games that are releasing this winter.
Needless to say, it's been a long time since we last saw an official Nintendo Direct presentation. Though Nintendo has traditionally streamed Nintendo Direct presentations over the summer, they decided to skip that timeslot this year. However, the September Nintendo Direct streak remains alive with this announcement.
Unfortunately for fans of the Super Smash Bros. series, there's currently no reason to expect any Smash news at the moment since post-launch development for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate wrapped up in late 2021 with the release of Kingdom Hearts' Sora as a DLC fighter, and patch 13.0.1 a little later.
By this point, Masahiro Sakurai is likely deeply involved with developing his next game. However, it will likely still be some time before we receive any news about what Sakurai's next project is.
Of course, there's always a possibility that some fighting game news could emerge during a Nintendo Direct presentation. Should this happen, expect coverage here on EventHubs.
Tune in at 7 a.m. PT tomorrow, 9/13, for a #NintendoDirect livestream featuring roughly 40 minutes of information mostly focused on #NintendoSwitch games launching this winter.

The Nintendo Direct presentation is slated to be streamed on Nintendo's official YouTube channel on September 13, 2022. We'll just have to see what surprises we're in store for this winter when the Direct is aired.
