Book releases new Tekken 7 tier list for patch version 5.00
Patch version 5.00 for Tekken 7 was released not too long ago. Although the changes implemented by patch weren't popular with everyone, it was clear that tier lists would see some reorganizing as a result.
It seems that professional competitor Talon|Book already has a good idea on just how viable each character feels in Tekken 7. Of course, it's worth keeping in mind that it hasn't even been a full month since the patch was released into the wild, so everything regarding Book's tier list is subject to change.
As seen in the S tier category, the top contenders of Tekken 7 according to Book are Akuma, Feng, Zafina, Marduk, and Paul. When Book released a list that detailed how the patch affected each fighter, he noted that Feng, Zafina, Marduk, and Paul were mostly the same while Akuma only received slight nerfs in comparison to the major nerfs that hit the other top tiers.
Speaking of fighters that received major nerfs, characters like Lidia Sobieska, Fahkumram, and Leroy Smith have now all been placed near the bottom of Book's tier list. Based on this, we'll probably be seeing these fighters way less often at tournament events.
Nearly half of the game's roster have been positioned in the A tier category. This might sound great, but there is are S tier and A+ tier groups sitting at the top. This means that the best fighter in A tier is still technically worse than 23 other characters in the game.
