Jim Carrey's Ace Ventura beats the snot out of Mortal Kombat's ninjas in fatally fantastic stop motion animation
We may be admittedly a bit biased in our profession, but fighting game fans sure do seem like they're more creative in showing off the genre than most others out there.
Professional animator D.M. Galloway recently released a fantastic stop motion short that pits Jim Carrey's Ace Ventura against the Mortal Kombat ninjas Scorpion and Reptile.
The head of DGDX Animation wastes no time getting started in this Robot Chicken-like romp after Scorpion rises from the fire to get the action going.
On top of being a pet detective, Ace Ventura's apparently got some martial arts skills judging by the way he dodges Scorpion's blows and chain before he commits to the classic Fatality of ripping out the ninja's heart.
Reptile immediately jumps in to try and finish the fight, but the Jim Carrey action figure tosses the heart at the scaly fighter and putting his battle tutu on.
Not even one of Outworld's best jobbers can lay a finger on Ace, and he too meets a bloody end.
If you happened to enjoy his particular animation, Galloway has years worth of similar works on his Twitter and YouTube pages.
