Mortal Kombat Deception's worst character also had its most painfully unfair attack

We recently released a video detailing the worst characters introduced in each 3D Mortal Kombat game, and though there was most certainly strong competition, the winner in Mortal Kombat Deception was the strikingly bland Dairou.

Not only was Dairou painfully uninspired in his general design, but as True Under Dawg Gaming explores in his latest video, he also had one of the most obviously overpowered and cheap moves we've ever seen in a fighting game.

Many of Dariou's normal attacks were borrowed from the previous Mortal Kombat game as his three fighting stances were used by Quan-Chi, Movado, and Kung-Lao in Deadly Alliance, but he did have three distinct specials.

He could shoot a projectile from his foot, teleport and switch places with his opponent (this one was actually cool), and perform a sudden ground pound technique called the "Tombstone Drop."

We'll just say that, in one way, it's a good a thing Dairou was as unattractive a character as he was, because it meant players wouldn't have to deal with this ridiculous technique as much as they otherwise might have. Tack on "annoying" to the list of charisma-sapping adjectives in front of Dairou's name.

We'll let True Under Dawg do the majority of the explaining, but will just say that Tombstone Drop saw Dairou quickly make his body rigid and rapidly fall back to slam against the ground. Upon doing this, the ground of the entire arena would become an unblockable hitbox. It gets worse from there.
