Next two DLC fighters for Guilty Gear Strive confirmed to be releasing on March 2023 and May 2023
Sin Kiske is the latest fighter to join Guilty Gear Strive's roster via the Season Pass 2. With Bridget and Sin now available, this means that only the third and fourth DLC combatants of the Season Pass 2 will be releasing at some point in 2023, along with a balance update in December.
During the 12th volume of the Guilty Gear Strive Developer's Backyard, additional information about the next two Season Pass 2 characters was suddenly revealed. We now have a clearer picture on when to expect more DLC to be available.
According to the updated roadmap, the eighth DLC character is now slated to be released somewhere in March 2023. At the same time, the third DLC stage will also be available for players to acquire.
Guilty Gear players will only have to wait a couple of months after that for the ninth DLC character to be released in May 2023. The fourth DLC stage is also going to release along with this fighter.
Additionally, December 2022 is marked as the month in which the crossplay update, network mode updates, and battle balance patch are launched. The Director of Guilty Gear Strive, Akira Katano, also clarified that the crossplay update is expected to launch "mid December," which could imply that all these features will launch around the middle of December rather than the beginning or end.
One important detail that is worth noting is that the "schedule is subject to change." Though we should expect Arc System Works to stay on this schedule, things could potentially change in the upcoming months.
