Rumor: The next Guilty Gear Strive DLC fighter leaked thanks to data mining

Sin Kiske is the latest character to join Guilty Gear Strive as DLC via the Season Pass 2. Beyond this, there are only two characters remaining for the Season Pass 2, and they're both due in 2023.

However, it appears that we may not have to wait long before learning about the next DLC fighter's identity. We'll be talking about a data mine beyond this point that may potentially reveal what's next for Guilty Gear Strive's DLC.

Hidden within the game's code are two dialogue subtitles directed at Sin Kiske. These dialogue exchanges typically happen at the beginning of each match.

Although the text for the dialogue has been intentionally left blank, an abbreviation of relevant letters within the character's name are supposedly present here. Whoever the next DLC fighter is, they're being referred to in the game as "DLL."

Based on this, it's been heavily implied that Delilah, the younger sister of Bedman, is slated to be the next combatant for Guilty Gear Strive. Like Sin Kiske, Delilah is a character that appeared in Guilty Gear Strive's Another Story before being made playable.

If Delilah really is the next fighter, then she'd be a newcomer to the Guilty Gear series. This is similar to how Goldlewis Dickinson and Happy Chaos were characters represented in Guilty Gear Strive's story mode before becoming full-fledged fighters via DLC.

Due to this, it's not really known what kind of fighter that Delilah would be in Guilty Gear Strive. Perhaps she'll take a few cues from her brother, Bedman. We'll just have to wait and see if things really turn out that way.

Additionally, it would appear that references to Slayer can still be found Guilty Gear Strive's code. Although he was seemingly planned for DLC in Season 1, it's entirely possible that he was moved to the last slot of the second wave of DLC.

Check out the video by Rooflemonger that talks about Delilah and Slayer below:

Of course, it's important to keep in mind that all rumors must be taken with a grain of salt. Plenty of characters that were leaked for Season 1 via data mining have not yet become playable, although it's suspected that Arc System Works may have changed things up a bit.
