Daigo Umehara would be jealous of this brilliant 20+ parry sequence in Street Fighter 5

No, it's not the next Evo Moment 37, but Sunshine-OU's recent parry extravaganza in a Street Fighter 5 match is an absolute ton of fun to watch.

It'd be one thing if this all happened as a staged event in training mode, but Sunshine's Alex is able to parry his way through the insane combination of two projectiles plus an entire Tengu Stone barrage from Oro, and does so after a call out taunt.

Things start out with Sunshine's Alex hitting his foe into the corner with a V-Trigger activation combo, but instead of going in for the kill, he backs off and launches into a taunt.

Give Oro any space at all, especially if he's using V-Skill 1, and you're almost certain to see some fireballs start flying your way, which is exactly what happens here.

The Oro user, seeing a very real chance to mount a comeback, activates his Tengu Stone V-Trigger and quickly puts a pair of fireballs out on the screen to cover his approach and potentially mix up Sunshine.

Without the slightest hint of trepidation or doubt, Sunshine lets his opposition come at him with absolutely everything, and parries through all of it.

Both fireballs, a barrage of normal attacks, and all of the Tengu Stone objects are met with a very satisfying series of parries. While these parries aren't the same as the much more difficult ones in Street Fighter 3, this is still very much a spectacle to behold.

Add in some pop up memes and rockin music and you have yourself a wonderfully good time watching some highly entertaining Street Fighter 5:
