New Ghostblade DNF Duel gameplay trailer released
Back in December of last year, a trailer for DNF Duel was released that revealed two more combatants joining the battle. Ghostblade and Mechanic were very briefly shown without any real gameplay footage, but the former now has a proper gameplay trailer to look over.
A new showcase has been unveiled that grants fans a look at what Ghostblade can do in DNF Duel. The initial reveal depicted a sword-wielding warrior with a spooky Stand that also comes equipped with a blade, and from this trailer we can see that both members of this duo will have their place in battle.
As one might expect from a swordfighter, Ghostblade appears to excel at mid to long range fighting. His sword strikes are large and swift, and they cover quite a bit of area on screen in front of him.
Ghostblade calls his assistant via a quick burst of energy. When it lands, the main specter will attack first and can either see both strike in tandem or a teleport from the point man.
This fighter looks to have the ability for juggle combos and some extended sequences, adding solid conversions to his footsie game. The trailer also gives us a quick look at a throw that sees the warrior deliver a quick stab before slashing his opponent away.
DNF Duel is set for release sometime this Summer.
