Velma from Scooby-Doo officially announced for MultiVersus
Warner Bros. Interactive announced today via Twitter that the next character to be revealed for the launch roster of the upcoming MultiVersus platform fighter will be none other than Velma Dinkly of Scooby-Doo fame.
The book smart crime solver/meddling kid will be joining fellow home IP character Norville "Shaggy" Rogers when the game launches later this year. Continue on to see the announcement.
While we'd really like to see what Velma will look like as she appears in MultiVersus, developers have yet to give us any visuals. For now, we'll have to be content with the information and hold out until further notice for footage.

Warner Bros. Interactive has recently sent out a slew of beta test invites for MultiVersus to fans that have signed up to potentially receive one. Scrolling along the rest of their Twitter feed, we've noticed they've been sending out extra handfuls of said invites in recent times, and so it's a good idea to check your email inbox for one if you didn't initially get in.
Velma will be the 16th character to join the known launch roster for MultiVersus, and we'll be sure to share more about Velma the moment it pops up.
Until then, how about passing some time by sharing your Warner umbrella hopefuls for the coming crossover title? We're still crossing fingers and holding out for a Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty announcement before the game officially comes out on PlayStations 4 and 5, PC, and Xbox One and Series X/S.
