Rival School's Batsu blazes into Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in brand new mod and X-Men's Bishop is coming too
The Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 modding community just keeps trucking on with fan favorite requests and their own personal projects to evolve a game that's now over a decade old.
One such modder in CaliKingz01 just dropped Rival Schools' Batsu Ichimonji as a brand new fighter for UMvC3, and teased his next character to be X-Men's Bishop.
Although he hasn't been playable in previous MvC titles, Batsu was playable on the roster of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and it looks like CaliKingz01 used that version to largely build his new UMvC3 incarnation.
Batsu is shown in his gameplay release trailer to have his signature Guts Bullet, Guts Upper, Crescent Star Kick, and Shooting Star Kick specials as well as his Maximum Guts Bullet and Maximum Guts Upper as his Hyper Combos.
Bishop, however, is not quite ready for public consumption, but the long-requested mutant's move set already appears to be coming along nicely with his energy-enhanced strikes as well as some firearms.
