New 'Combo Maker' mode is coming to Guilty Gear Strive via a free update on January 28

It was recently revealed that Baiken will be made available as a DLC character in Guilty Gear Strive on January 28, assuming you own the Season Pass 1. Although Baiken's move pool is now considerably smaller compared to her previous iterations, she has access to a new tether mechanic that keeps her and the opponent within close proximity while the tether is active.

However, it seems that Baiken isn't the only new content that's coming to Guilty Gear Strive this Friday. It was recently announced that the new "Combo Maker" mode is being released as part of a free update for the game.

This new mode will essentially allow players to record their combos and setplay sequences. After recording something that's satisfactory, the player may then upload the demonstration for the world to see.

It will even be possible to download combos from other uploaders. Each combo will have a completion rate that sort of indicates how difficult a combo is to perform.

While performing a combo, inputs can be made visible to follow along with. This is an excellent way of practicing new combos and leveling up with the community.
