The cancelation of Capcom Cup 8 last month was not wholly surprising, but it was still disappointing for fans and players looking forward to the offline finals. That doesn't mean there's nothing left to look forward to, however,

Capcom finally released the full schedule and lineup for their Capcom Pro Tour 2021 Season Final that's set to last across 4 days including a 5v5 exhibition set and marquee matchups of top Street Fighter 5 players.

The action will begin on Thursday, February 17, with the No Neutral 5v5 Exhibition featuring 2 handfuls worth of North America's best competitors with EQNX|Brian_F, PG|Punk, END|Shine, ChrisCCH, RobTV, XSET|iDom, PG|Nephew, TS|NYCFurby, Smug and Justakid.

That will be followed by 3 more days of the 31 previously qualified CPT winners plus 9 more who were selected as invitees to compete.

Each player is set to face off with just one other competitor from their region for their shot at the $5,000 prize money awarded to each winner.

Highlights of these Season Final matchups include a rematch of Capcom Cup 2019 with Punk vs. iDom, BST|Daigo Umehara vs. HB|Kawano, NASR|Angrybird vs. NASR|Big Bird, GyoGun|Mago vs. SNB|Higuchi, Nephew vs. ChrisCCH, RobTV vs. Brian_F, UYU|NL vs. Infiltration and BST|Infexious vs. The4Philzz among many others.

The live streams are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. PST each day on Capcom Fighters' Twitch and YouTube channels to close out the competitive year for SF5.

Many fans were hopeful to see the next Street Fighter entry announced at Capcom Cup and now the CPT Season Final, but Capcom's event page doesn't make any mention of reveals or surprises planned.

So it looks like we'll be waiting until the weekend of to see if we finally get to see what Capcom is cooking up for the next generation of Street Fighters.
