Maesuma Japan 24 Invitational results

There's not much fighting game tournament action going down this weekend on account of the holidays, but the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate scene is not taking a break.

The Maesuma Japan 24 invitational is doing as the name suggests and bringing together 24 of the best Japanese Smash players including ZETA|Acola, R2G|Kameme, SBI|Ken, SZ|Asimo, SND|Abadango, 8LX|Hikaru, CJE|Hero, VGBC|Umeki, Revo|Kome, Liquid|Atelier and more.

Maesuma will be split up across 2 days with the first serving as a round robin group stage with 4 pools of 6 players each.

The round robin results determine placement in the final main bracket taking place on December 25 in Japan.

This event is indeed offline, so we'll be seeing all of the competitors in person showing off their wide range of character picks.
