Reebok X Street Fighter announce 10 shoes inspired by the world warriors and franchise are dropping this week
I do like the idea of Training Mode shoes
The overlap between Street Fighter fans and shoe collectors must be pretty sizable considering how many crossovers we've seen over the years, which is kinda ironic for a series where a bunch of character fight barefoot.
Reebok and Capcom just announced 10 different pairs of Street Fighter themed shoes each inspired by the iconic characters, games and even the Training Mode Grid stage as part of the franchise's 35th anniversary.
Unsurprisingly, most of the designs are based on Street Fighter 2 with Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, M. Bison, Dhalsim, Akuma and Cammy having kicks each having their own set pulling details from costumes like Chun's wristband spikes on the back of hers.
They seem to largely be the same shoes that were previously exclusive to Reebok Taiwan, so it's nice to see them receive a wider release though there are a few changes / additions.
Probably the most interesting of the whole bunch is Gill's which has one fire red shoe and one ice blue shoe, and Cammy seems to have replaced Zangief's spot.

Prices for the special Street Fighter shoes range from $100–200, and there will be shirts, shorts, a hoodie and slides available as part of the crossover too.
The new line of Street Fighter kicks and apparel are set to go on sale on December 14 at 9 p.m. PST / December 15 at 12 a.m. EST, so set your alarms if you want to nab a pair for yourself.
You can find more information about Reebok's entire line of Street Fighter shoes and clothes on their website.

Also, it's kinda weird that their trailer shows Street Fighter Alpha being played on a Street Fighter 2 arcade cabinet.
