Professional competitor Book releases initial impressions on how characters have been affected by Tekken 7's newest patch

Tekken 7 version 5.00 launched earlier today. Every single character on the roster received at least one change, but it's clear that some fighters are going to be drastically different compared to the previous version.

Professional competitor TALON|Book has already constructed a list that depicts how different each fighter should theoretically feel in version 5.00 comparably. Do keep in mind that this is just Book's impressions on how buffed or nerfed each fighter seems, and isn't intended to be a tier list of any sort.

According to Book, the combatants hit the hardest by 5.00's nerf bat include Devil Jin, Fahkumram, Lidia Sobieska, Leroy, Geese Howard, Kunimitsu, and more. Book notes that Akuma, Jin, and Bob were also nerfed, but not quite as badly as the eight characters that really got nerfed.

The characters that virtually got "nothing changed at all" is, unfortunately, the largest group of this list. Aside from the new wall crush guard mechanic, players that use Kazuya, Noctis, King, Nina, Kazumi, Marduk, and many others aren't going to see much of a difference in gameplay.

Fighters that received buffs include Jack-7, Negan, Lucky Chloe, Heihachi, Gigas, Anna, Katarina, Kuma, and a few others. Perhaps we'll see more gameplay from those that were buffed in this last hurrah for Tekken 7 before whatever that tease (Tekken 8?) gets released.
