Sol Badguy crosses the multiverse to join Dragon Ball FighterZ in new mod after Goku invaded Guilty Gear Strive
MUGEN FighterZ when?
The fighting game world recently witnessed a crazy development when Dragon Ball FighterZ's Goku was impressively modded into Guilty Gear Strive, so why wouldn't the opposite be possible?
Now, it's Sol Badguy's turn to do battle against Saiyans, androids and aliens with RCBurrito debuting a new mod to bring the hero of Strive to DBFZ.
Although the crossover mod is still in development, RCBurrito appears to have made good progress already by showcasing Sol moving and air dashing within FighterZ.
What's perhaps most interesting and exciting about these prospects is this modding work seems to imply that the core game / battle engines between Strive and Dragon Ball (and potentially Guilty Gear Xrd) are very similar for work to be advancing this quickly.

This isn't all that surprising considering both games are developed by Arc System Works, but it could have far deeper implications.
If the other ArcSys-made fighters are also built on the same foundations, we could see characters from Granblue Fantasy: Versus, DNF Duel and potentially future titles all mashed together with Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball by the fans.
The idea could be too busted to work for anything other than a fun showpiece, but just the thought of an ArcSys-centric MUGEN is still enticing as hell to mess around with at the least.
We'll be keeping a close and keen eye on how these modding scenes continue to advance, and we'll update you all when this new Sol mod goes live to the public.
