Justin Wong's touch of death combo with Captain Commando, Sabretooth, and Hayato has us really wanting that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 revival

One of the best to ever play and compete in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Justin Wong, continues to experiment in the now 21-year-old fighting game and is coming up with all kinds of interesting things.

With a focus on low tier characters and unorthodox teams, the longtime top-level competitor has crafted an awesome touch of death combo using a squad consisting of Captain Commando, Sabretooth, and Hayato. We start with Commando on point and a little help from the big, bad X-Men villain.

The sequence begins with a jump in from Captain Commando. A quick string into Commando's hop kicks puts the opponent into an airborne state and allows Sabretooth's assist to come in and juggle them.

While the training dummy is still in the air, Commando is able to pop the opponent up, hit a Captain Corridor, then bring them back down with super, to which they land in a DHC into Sabretooth.

Sabretooth's super allows Hayato to come in and power up, which pops his foe up just enough for him to land an OTG and close out with a final super for the KO.

The result is a 37-hit combo that takes Cable from full health down to zero in one go. JWong notes that he needs to use this team in real matches as soon as possible, and now I'm hoping we see a revival of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 just to see him wreak havoc with this badass assortment of fighters.
