Super Smash Bros. pro players are understandably excited for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Taking heavy inspiration from high-level Smash Bros. play, the upcoming Nicktoons title is looking like a fast-paced Smash-style game, but with fan favorite characters from our childhoods.

One of the pros who is particularly excited for this game is none other than one of the Melee gods, Juan " Liquid|HungryBox" Debiedma. The top contender has been analyzing the game very closely since its initial reveal, and now based on what we've seen so far has created an early, pre-release tier list for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.

Naturally, HungryBox begins with the disclaimer that this is a soft tier list. Obviously, what this chart is based on is limited to what has been shown by the developers thus far.

One category on the tier list is reserved for characters we have yet to see any real gameplay footage for. That being said, there's quite a few that we've seen in action already and others that have received full gameplay breakdowns.

HungryBox takes the time to closely look over the tools in the footage that is currently out on the internet. The strongest contenders here in the days before launch appear to be April O'Neil and CatDog.

One stand out observation HBox makes is on the effectiveness and utility of CatDog's up air. According to him, this attack may be the best move currently shown in the game.

On the other end of the chart we have Nigel Thornberry in his own tier below everyone else.

If you'd like to jump straight to the final tier list, head to 11:27 in the video below.
