The next Injustice adaptation in to the realm of film is just under a month a way from releasing, and now fans can get a taste of what the darker side of the DC has in store.

A new red band trailer is now available for our viewing pleasure, which definitely showcases why the movie earned an R rating with Superman bringing the pain and destruction.

This second trailer begins with voice lines of the Justice League characters voicing their thoughts on what's about to go down before Clark Kent wakes up from what seems to be a bad dream... though it's about to get a whole lot worse.

We're then treated to a part of Joker's iconic death scene from the comics with Superman punching straight through the Joker, and they certainly don't hold back on the blood.

In his rise to creating The Regime, the man of steel goes on the offensive and is shown wiping out villains and civilians, including punching Clayface to pieces and flying straight through Solomon Grundy.

You can check out the full trailer for yourselves below thanks to IGN before the Injustice film releases on October 19. There is of course some NSFW violence ahead too.
