Here's how April O'Neil's 'glass cannon' style and Michelangelo's rushdown work in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl

The developers behind Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl have returned with another character breakdown. This time, we're actually treated to two new showcases featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' own Michelangelo and April O'Neil.

These videos delve into the specifics of how each character's moves function, what they're playstyle is all about, and how to use their unique mechanics. To close them out, we also get to see both fighters in a real bout.

The devs describe Mikey as a rushdown character who excels at being in the opponent's face and dishing out combos. This ninja turtle has juggle combos for days, launching the foe into the air and using his grappling hook to bring them back down to continue the sequence.

As one would expect, much of Michelangelo's light and strong attacks consist of nunchaku strikes. His special moves give him access to a pizza projectile, and his up special is his grappling hook that knocks the opponent back down into him after a juggle and can be used to recover when he's knocked off the stage.

April, on the other hand, is a glass cannon. Her fighting style revolves around a unique meter mechanic called the "Ratings Meter," which powers up her neutral special and allows her the ability to dish out big damage.

Certain attacks will build up April's ratings, and when she is ready to unleash them she can tag her opponent with her neutral special, "Breaking News!" The higher her ratings meter, the more damage and knockback the special will deal, but all ratings will be depleted after using Breaking News!
