SNK is finally starting to open up quite a bit more as to what fans can expect out of The King of Fighters 15, and it looks like we'll be learning a lot more in a few weeks.

The King of Fighters 15 will be officially featured at the Tokyo Game Show 2021 where the developers have prepared a special showcase of character reveals, gameplay details and the first full match footage of the title.

Fighting Gme Cafe Hamejun will be hosting a special KOF15 stream program for TGS, and its official description is as follows:

"Here's the latest info on KOF15, which releases Feb 17th, 2022! There will be a special KOF program featured on the hit fighting game-focused show, 'Fighting Game Cafe Hamejun'. Fan-favorite hameko and Jun Utahiroba from the band Golden Bomber will join KOF top players as well as KOF developers. Get ready for character reveals, system breakdowns, and the first ever footage of KOF15 being played!"

Those looking to tune into the stream will be able to do so starting at 9 p.m. PT on Wednesday, September 29.

Judging by the image, we may soon be finding out more about that new female fighter they seem to be setting up as Shun'ei's rival judging by the previous trailers.

On top of all that, SNK also announced KOF15 will be playable for the first time outside of the studio with a demo being available in the offline TGS event hall.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, however, attendance is invite only and seemingly limited to press and influencers — so maybe we'll still see some match footage from pros who get to go.

The developers previously showcased the user interface for the upcoming King of Fighters entry alongside Ash Crimson and the new Max Mode Quick mechanic at Gamescom.

As for other fighting game makers attending TGS, Capcom and Arc System Works are scheduled to hold their own streams as well.

While Capcom hasn't said what exactly they'll be showing, ArcSys confirms Guilty Gear Strive will be talked about, and that's where we expect to see the third DLC character for the game revealed.
