Awesome Guilty Gear Strive mod transforms Jack-O into Persona 5's Haru but it's also kinda bittersweet

We'll get that Persona 5: Arena someday... hopefully

Arc System Works puts so much effort into the visual design of their fighting games that PC modders must also put in the extra work if they want anyone to use their creations over the originals.

One such modder Monkeygigabuster recently released their newest fan costume for Guilty Gear Strive which transforms DLC character Jack-O into Persona 5's Haru Okumura, and it's pretty darn cool.

The mod does a great job of re-creating Haru's Phantom Thieves outfit as Noir with her trademark cavalier hat and blouse plus black corset vest fully intact — as well as her holster belt carrying grenade launcher rounds.

What does seem a bit odd, however, is why Jack-O was chosen for the honor when her big ol' ball and chain doesn't really match up with Haru's ax she likes to swing around, nor does her bubbly personality compared to Noir's more reserved side.

Seeing her rendered in-engine like this though makes us want to see Persona 5: Arena even more except we still have no idea when or if it's ever going to happen.

We recently explored the chances of seeing a new spin-off fighting game coming out of the series as part of Persona's seven upcoming anniversary announcements, and we feel as though Atlus and ArcSys may end up going another route first.

The download for this Noir Jack-O can be found on Gamebanana, and you can see the mod in motion for yourself thanks to Life Will Change where she of course takes part in the Jack-O Challenge.
