When Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was first announced, we were told that the game would be released sometime in Fall 2021. Assuming this was referring to the standard for the season of fall, this meant that the latest the game could be released was December 21, 2021.

Luckily though, it appears that we may not be waiting until December for the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl after all. According to the game's Nintendo eShop page, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will be released on October 5, 2021.

As of right now, the list of confirmed characters are SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Leonardo, Michelangelo, April O'Neil, Lincoln Loud, Lucy Loud Powered Toast Man, Oblina, Nigel Thornberry, Helga, Reptar, Zim, Danny Phantom and CatDog — 16 characters in total.

Based on the teaser that was shown before the reveals of April O'Neil and CatDog, there will be 22 characters available to use upon release. This means that there are 6 characters to be revealed between now and October 5, 2021.

We can also expect move listings for already confirmed characters to be released over a period of time. Earlier today, we were provided with a graphic that showcases how SpongeBob SquarePants has 17 moves in total.

Unlike Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it's been reported that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will have rollback netcode, a feature that is generally seen as an improvement for online play compared to delay-based netcode. Needless to say, there's certainly a lot to look forward to on October 5, 2021.
