Arc System Works appears to be teasing Guilty Gear Strive announcement for November

There is only one DLC character remaining for Guilty Gear Strive in 2021, but the developers have been playing coy as to when fans should be on the lookout for fighter number three.

Arc System Works appears to be shifting gears a bit now, however, with the reveal this week they're going to be in attendance at Anime NYC next month that certainly looks like a tease for Strive players.

Their recent post on Twitter states they'll be exhibiting at the convention where the team will have "plenty of goodies and surprises that you won't want to miss."

It concludes with the #GuiltyGearStrive hashtag, and the banner image is that of the fighting game as well — so they clearly aren't talking about any of their other titles here.

If ArcSys is planning to showcase the new Strive DLC trailer at Anime NYC, they'd probably need a panel to do that, but right now they don't appear to have one.

That doesn't mean they won't, however, as there's still two dozen panel slots listed as 'Coming Soon!' meaning the devs could just be holding back info until a later date.

What is extra convincing to us that this could likely be a venue for the announcement is the timing of the convention.

Anime NYC is scheduled to take place November 19–21.

That is the exact same timeframe we previously predicted for a reveal because the second ArcRevo qualifier event will also be taking place on November 21.

This points to the probable scenario where ArcSys would reveal the trailer at the same time for the live crowd in attendance for Anime NYC as well as those at home watching the Strive tournament.

It's not a for sure, done deal just yet, but Guilty Gear players should definitely mark November 21 down on their calendars and keep an eye on.
