LPN shows us how to do a 'mothaf@%K*ng infinite' with Giovanna in Guilty Gear Strive... though it's not really an infinite

Patch 1.10 for Guilty Gear Strive was very kind to Giovanna. Thanks to her new buffs, she has the potential to be a real contender in the tournament scene.

LPN has recently figured out how to make the Giovanna infinite — or rather the "mothaf@%K*ng infinite" — work in a recent video upload. This infinite should looks familiar to fans of Iron Man in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

Just like Iron Man in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Giovanna is able to get this string of attacks to work by hitting a series of aerials before landing. The adjusted "blow back" of Giovanna's standing kick is quite helpful in making this combo work.

In the video, we hear a voice clip that comes directly from Djchamploo132's video that teaches how to perform Iron Man's infinite in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. To really sell the reference, LPN also has Marvel vs. Capcom 2's iconic theme, "I'm Gonna Take You For A Ride" by Constantinos Piliouras.

Note that Giovanna's combo reportedly only works on tall characters. So this should only be used against Faust, Potemkin and Goldlewis Dickinson.

Of course, this doesn't appear to be a true infinite due to Guilty Gear Strive's mechanics. Eventually, the opponent will be backed into a wall. This will cause a wall break, ending the combo in return for additional damage that occurs during a cinematic.

Because Djchamploo132's voice clip was inserted in the video, be advised that there is some NSFW language ahead (in case that wasn't already obvious).
