The developers of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl have made their next big announcement for the game before its launch next week. Two new playable characters have been revealed, and they are none other than Avatar: The Last Airbender's Aang and Korra.

Over on the official Xbox Podcast with Major Nelson, both contenders were showcased through quick trailers that give us a glimpse at what all these warriors will be able to do in battle.

As expected, Aang utilizes his airbending skills primarily in combat. He looks to be a speedy fighter that uses wind specials, big palm and elbow strikes, and his staff to tack on damage.

Korra also uses elemental moves, but we see her harnessing fire, water, and earth in her attacks. She can skate across the stage as the earth is dug up beneath her, and her powerful kicks look to have great knockback.

During the broadcast, both Aang and Korra's full move list charts were shown, though you'll need to zoom in a bit to really look them over properly.

Also divulged during the podcast was a special pre-order bonus for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Those who opt to reserve it now can save 20% off your purchase.

Following the official announcement, GameMill Entertainment released the in-depth character breakdowns for both Aang and Korra. You can check them out below for the full scoop on their fighting styles.

Those who are excited to play Aang can expect a highly mobile character that is great at aerial combos. The young fighter's grounded light attacks all see him using physical strikes with his hands and arms, while aerial lights mix in staff attacks.

Aang's light attacks don't have much range, but they can combo into each other easily and are very fast on the draw.

His strong attacks bring in the power of the wind to deal more damage, and using them in conjunction with light attacks can really help the airbender extend his combos. Aang is looking like a combo monster here in this pre-release footage.

Korra, on the other hand, likes to fight up close and uses strong punches and kicks to knock her foes back. What's interesting about her attacks, though, is that you'll need to time them correctly to really send your opponents flying.

One of this fighter's unique traits comes in the form of her ability to charge all of her special moves. When charged, these attacks will deal devastating damage.

In the breakdown, we see special moves such as her "Bending Leap" which acts as a big Superman punch that sails across the stage. When charged, this attack flies even farther and becomes more powerful.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is set for release on October 5, 2021.
