Update: Street Fighter 5's servers are officially down for maintenance to add Luke into the game as the final DLC character. The new update for the game is now available to download in the meantime, which clocks in at 33 GB on Steam. You can find more information below.

Next week, Capcom is going ahead and adding the final DLC character Street Fighter 5 is set to see after over five years of content support. The powerful puncher, Luke, joins the roster as an aggressive fighter with some unique abilities that are brand new to SF5.

As with any major character update, Street Fighter 5's servers will go down for schedule maintenance and when they return, the new contender will be playable. Here is when you can expect to see the game's servers go offline and when they're expected to come back.

"We will perform server maintenance from PST 5 to 9pm on November 28, Sunday (11/29 1:00 to 5:00 UTC)," wrote the official SFV Server Twitter account. "Thank you for your patience and support!"

Starting at 5 p.m. PT on Sunday, November 28, online modes for Street Fighter 5 will be inaccessible. By 9 p.m., we should be seeing a return to form, but oftentimes the server maintenance wraps up earlier than its listed end time, so you'll want to keep an eye out.

During their Fall Update broadcast this past week, the Street Fighter 5 developers shared all of the nitty gritty details on Luke. This fighter looks like he'll be able to dish out quite a lot of damage, and he has solid mid-range control tools and up close options to help him do so.

For the first time ever, we see V-Triggers that actually refill over time when activated, not deplete. Both of Luke's V-Triggers turn the V-Gauge into a timer, and the bar actually progressively refills and goes up more when Luke lands hits, but it depletes when he uses V-Trigger moves and takes damage himself.

Luke is set for official release on Monday, November 29. The balance patch that was originally slated to arrive alongside him was pushed to early next year, so we'll be waiting till then to see it go live.
