New information and screenshots released for Happy Chaos, update for player lobbies coming to Guilty Gear Strive

Last night, we all learned that Happy Chaos will be the next character to join the roster of Guilty Gear Strive, and now we know a bit more about the magician and the update coming alongside him.

Arc System Works have released new screenshots and information regarding Happy Chaos, and player lobbies are going to be a bit different when he drops.

One image appears to confirm the Overdrive seen in the trailer will probably track opponents as Happy Chaos blasts them through multiple portals.

His main ability to fire off his gun definitely isn't limited to shooting those just on the ground since another screen shows him picking off Nagoriyuki in the air.

Interestingly, the revolver he uses for combat is one of only five heavenly guns available throughout the multiverse with his specifically named Crescent Moon.

The second one he wields is actually just a replica.

Back when he was a human, Happy Chaos was originally born in Ireland, which seems to make him the first Guilty Gear fighter from the country.

The aloof dude of course likes to drive, as seen in the story and his victory screen, but he also 'enjoys' local specialty sweets and nice sounding musical instruments made for beginners.

As for the new Player Match update coming with Happy Chaos, users will be able to customize the look of their personal lobbies.

Room items are going to be available to unlock via Strive's fishing shop to give players something new to spend their money on.

Players can arrange furniture, change the wallpaper and background scenery with up to 80 items per house.

There will be 500 items in total to acquire.

No mention appears to be made for whether its actual functionality will be changing.

The update bringing Happy Chaos and lobby customization are scheduled to drop on November 30.
