Just over a week until we can get our hands on him for the first time

Guilty Gear Strive will be receiving its second public open beta later this month, and one of the most exciting prospects of the test is the chance to get our hands on Anji Mito and I-No for the first time in their new forms.

To help keep the hype train going, Arc System Works has been revealing glimpses at Anji's animations we previously hadn't seen for Strive including his Overdrive Super move Issei Ougi: Sai.

Anji's trailer, like most others for Strive, only showed the start up animation for Issei Ougi: Sai, but now we can look at the full thing in motion.

The Overdrive move returns from his previous appearances although this time with a little more visual flare, as we get a gorgeous close-up shot between his fans before tossing them out to rack up the damage on I-No.

ArcSys also revealed Mito's taunt where he gets serious for a moment and points a closed fan at his opponent.

While there's not a whole lot to his taunt, Anji's respect animation is more elaborate with the pretty boy performing a nice little dance for the ladies that are assuredly watching.

The 14th fighter's round victory pose is also a nice callback to his Accent Core days with the umbrella.

Guilty Gear Strive's Open Beta #2 is set to begin on May 13 at 8 p.m. PDT and run though May 16 at 7:59 a.m. PDT, so we should be getting a better look at I-No's animations as well in the lead up to next week.

On top of getting to take Anji and I-No for a spin, this new beta will also feature a number of big changes from the previous one in February including overhauled online lobbies and weakened jumps / air dashes in the upcoming fighting game.
