New information is coming down the Street Fighter 5 pike as Capcom has just announced a Spring Update live stream in which they'll be offering new details about upcoming characters Rose and Oro.

This is slated to take place next Tuesday, April 6 at 3 p.m. Pacific Time on the Capcom Fighters stream. You can view the announcement tweet below.

This update stream will be the third of its kind from the Street Fighter 5 team as they held their Winter Update back in February and their Summer Update back in August of last year. Both presentations were packed with exciting new information about Street Fighter 5's fifth season as character gameplay as well as details on other upcoming content were shown.

The community has been enjoying the latest DLC fighter, Dan Hibiki, since his release late last month, but has simultaneously been growing more and more restless for the next DLC comer: Rose. The Italian fortune teller has long been rumored to join the roster, and she's now finally next in line.

From the footage of Rose that we do have thus far, we've been piecing together some ideas for how certain attacks might work as well as how her V-Skill 1 functions. Though we've seen considerably less footage for Oro, we were able to scrounge up some thoughts on how his Tengu Stone might work.

We suspect a release date for Rose and a more elaborate showcase for Oro will be in store come April 6, and perhaps a bit of a tease for Akira, the DLC character hailing from the Rival Schools franchise and coming after Oro.

As always, we'll be watching and reporting as things play out in real time, so be sure to join us here on EventHubs for the Spring Update as well as for detailed breakdowns and analysis of all the exciting info. Let us know what you expect to see from Capcom next week in the comments below.
