The newest addition to Tekken 7's roster, Polish Prime Minister Lidia Sobieska, has been tearing through the King of Iron Fist Tournament for almost a week now. In that time she's garnered particular attention for her beautifully-executed arsenal of karate techniques, all of which were captured with the help of Japanese master of Shotokan karate: Tatsuya Naka.

Footage of this capture process has been shared by Kuro-obi world and so now we all get to see exactly where Lidia's grace and power come from as the expert martial artists showcases her moves in real life.

The gorgeous and vivid scenes of Lidia putting the hurt on foes with short and precise movements, front kicks, spinning elbows, and more translate directly from scenes saturated in green from Bandai Namco studio sets.

Not only do we get to see Tatsuya Naka in the midst of recording with his full mocap suit on, but we also get to see him performing some of these techniques on other martial artists.

The cutting back and forth between Lidia laying into opponents with bone-crunching blows and Naka's carefully calculated deliveries (so as not to harm those he's working with) is especially interesting as we get to see the same exact movements performed with very different results.

Check out the full two minute behind the scenes video below and let us know your thoughts and reactions in the comments after.
