Guile's iconic sweep seen from the opponent's perspective in amazing animation

Although Guile is generally known for only having two special moves with the Sonic Boom and the Flash Kick, he really stands out from the rest of the Street Fighter roster thanks to his fantastic normals.

ShoRyuBarbie has recently uploaded an animation depicting Guile's sweep from the perspective of the opponent. The animator reports that this was a painstaking process, but the effort and skill definitely show up in the animation.

Guile's sweep is rather unique in the Street Fighter series. Considering how Guile sweeps twice, one can imagine how the animator might've had an easier time with the process had he chosen virtually any other character for this project. Evidently, he chose to challenge himself by attempting to animate Guile's sweep.

By pressing down and heavy kick in any game as Guile, he'll perform a sweep motion twice. Though only one hit is needed for a knockdown, this move is very good against armored moves that are capable of absorbing damage from a single attack.

Every time Guile completes the motion in the video, he'll change colors. Unsurprisingly, the video plays with the Guile theme in the background — it does go with everything, after all.
