Pyra's hitboxes tend to be bigger than Mythra's but both characters feel 'very DLC' in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate according to Rekzius' analysis

Pyra & Mythra are the most recent additions to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's gargantuan roster. Like many other fighters before them, they are sword users that really benefit from disjointed hitboxes.

As is tradition with DLC releases for Smash Ultimate, Rekzius has released a video that provides a visual guide and analysis of the hitboxes and properties of the newest DLC combatant.

During the trailer and "Sakurai Presents Pyra/Mythra" video, it was heavily implied that Pyra's attacks typically covered more area than Mythra's versions of the same moves. In return, Mythra is able to put out attacks much faster than Pyra thanks to her amazing frame data.

However, there is one notable exception to the rule as one of Mythra's attacks is actually larger than Pyra's. The hitboxes on Mythra's rapid jab and rapid jab finisher appear to be larger than Pyra's combo attack.

Despite Mythra having smaller hitboxes, Rekzius notes that they both feel "very DLC." Mythra, for example, has a landing hitbox on her neutral aerial which is something we're starting to see with DLC characters. Of course, keep in mind that Pyra does not have this landing hitbox.

Check out the video below to see the design of Pyra & Mythra's hitboxes, and how they compare to one another:
