New Tekken 7 character name and story details revealed by Bandai Namco via special care packages sent out to select individuals

Tekken 7 fans were teased back in February with first glimpses of an incoming DLC character, but save for hearing the fact that she's the Polish Prime Minister and seeing just a few quick glimpses of her body (no shots of her face thus far), that's all we've had.

Though Bandai Namco hasn't made any additional public announcements on the newcomer, they have begun sending out special boxes containing wearable gear and hints that reveal more about the incoming fighter, including her name: Lidia Sobieska.

Both Shacknews and Reepal "Rip" Parbhoo received boxes containing face masks, hoodies, and a special letter written to Lidia from none other than long time Tekken baddie Heihachi Mishima.

It's in this faux letter that we get a little more of the character's story as Heihachi responds to an apparent request to withdraw some of his forces in Poland.

He acknowledges that Lidia took her high status office at a young age, and notes that things will not go well for her and her country if she pushes the issue too far.

The closing remarks include an invitation for the Polish Prime Minister to make her request in person by entering the King of Iron Fist Tournament, which we have a strong suspicion will come to exact fruition. In fact, this lines up directly with her brief remark in the teaser trailer that she "must win for the people of Poland." You can view some photos of the care package contents below.

Thus far we only know that this DLC is coming in "early Spring of 2021," but with hints like this popping up, we're assuming we'll see more fairly soon.
