A new update for Guilty Gear Strive has been implemented into the game as of today, June 18, 2021. This latest patch puts a focus on bug fixes, and also makes some tweaks to the online network.

The Guilty Gear Strive v1.03 update has had its specifics detailed in the patch notes released by Arc System Works. You can view everything that changed after the jump.

The game's online experience suffered right out of the gate as players ran into issues during launch weekend. As a result, the developers took the servers down for maintenance to try and help improve conditions.

In this update, two fixes were made to the network to further tighten up the experience. Previously, the text chat function could cause the game to crash, and the ID function in Player Match rooms wasn't working as intended — but those things have now been addressed.

The other changes include fixes to other unintentional behavior for things like V-Sync and Replay Theater.

You can check out the full patch notes below.
