It's only been about 4 days since Guilty Gear Strive was released for everyone on June 11, 2021. Despite the short span of time, it seems that Guilty Gear Strive has been extremely successful for Arc System Works.

Last night, Arc System Works revealed that Guilty Gear Strive had already sold over 300k units worldwide. By this point, it had only been 3 days since Guilty Gear Strive's release.

"Bursting onto the scene strong from the start, Guilty Gear Strive ships 300k units worldwide," said Arc System Works on Twitter. "We thank everyone for supporting us and will continue to rock on to greater heights."

Guilty Gear Strive was released with a roster of 15 characters consisting of Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Faust, Potemkin, Chipp Zanuff, Zato-1, Millia Rage, Axl Low, Anji Mito, I-No, Ramlethal Valentine, Leo Whitefang, Nagoriyuki and Giovanna.

The Season Pass will eventually add 5 additional DLC characters to Guilty Gear Strive. The first fighter releasing in July 2021 is said to be a complete newcomer to the series. Following this, the character that will be made available in August 2021 will be returning from a previous entry.

Not much is known about the remaining 3 challengers that will release after the July 2021 and August 2021 fighters. We'll just have to wait for more official information regarding Guilty Gear Strive's Season Pass.

As time goes on and DLC characters are released, Guilty Gear Strive is expected to sell even more units worldwide. This is certainly a good sign for the newly released fighting game.
