Multiple players report strange glitch that sends Ramlethal's swords flying or swinging in complete opposite direction in Guilty Gear Strive

This one might be a bit of a problem though it appears rare right now

Whenever a new game releases, there's bound to be quite a few glitches that haven't been ironed out yet, and Guilty Gear Strive is no exception to that.

Some bugs like Faust's ability to completely crash the game with 20 meteors are just kinda goofy, but also near impossible to pull off in a real match. This new one with Ramlethal, however, could be more of a legitimate concern.

Multiple players have reported instances of Ram's giant swords swinging in the opposite direction than it's supposed to, which pretty much leaves her wide open for a counter attack.

Interestingly, this doesn't appear to just be a visual bug either since the reversed sword's hitbox completely whiffs the opponent in front of her.

As far as what's causing the glitch to appear, it's difficult to say right now because there's no known way to trigger it manually right now.

The only similarity between all three clips we've found is that Ram is on the player two side of the screen while the blade swings like it's on the player one side.

Two of them also have this phenomenon happening after performing her 6P, but after a good bit of testing, I was not able to replicate it in that fashion at all.

A good piece of news about this is that it seems to be exceedingly rare since there's not exactly an uproar from the Ram-playing community currently, so it's okay to not worry too much about it at the moment.

This apparently isn't exactly new for the character either, as OmniSScythe shared a clip of it happening to one of her aerial buttons during the last beta in May.

It's a bit concerning that this glitch impacts not just one of her buttons, but seemingly all of them with the swords, including her projectiles β€” though again it is very unlikely to happen in regular gameplay.

All we can really do about it at the moment is try to discover the cause, wait for Arc System Works to issue a fix, and Ramlethal players should maybe stick to the player one side if they can help it. Just in case.
