Combo connoisseur Desk's new Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown video has original music that plays right along with the action

The fighting game community has been enjoying the recently updated Virtua Fighter 5 as the 15 year old title recently evolved into the new and more eSports-friendly Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown.

As PlayStation users enjoy this free update, creative combo master Desk has put together a video that not only shows off the stellar combo sequences we've come to expect from him, but that also features music written to coincide with what's happening on the screen.

Get ready for juggles, wall splats, and body slams galore all emphasized and underscored by snappy snare hits and powerful bass pedals. It should come as little surprise that the content creator would have notable skill in both of these rhythm-related activities, as the ability to keep time obviously overlaps onto both.

Desk's musical ventures are housed under the Project Dolphin banner, and we snagged a little bonus material from their Twitter page as we get to see the guitar being played right alongside a few sequences.

The high flying and well-timed beat downs are great, and seeing rapid fire punches delivered from the likes of Vanessa to Sarah played along to the rapid beats in the midst of a cage fight is wonderfully energizing.

Check out the full video below and let us know what you think of this artistic fighting game venture in the comments once you're done.
