Luong announced for The King of Fighters 15

Did we mention she likes to kick?

After taking a week off due to the announcement that The King of Fighters 15 has been pushed back to 2022, we're back to our regularly scheduled programming, which means new character reveals to sink our teeth into.

Tonight, SNK unveiled that Luong will indeed be the latest character to join the ranks of KOF15 with a fancy new gameplay trailer to boot sporting a slightly updated look that'll surely have people talking.

As a character who was previously a newcomer in King of Fighters 14, Luong retains pretty much everything that made her famous with kicks for days and her tendency to do some chiropractic work on her opponent's neck.

What is new, however, are the effects placed on said kicks that certainly makes them look like they hit harder and almost appear like a sword slash, which is a pretty nice touch up over her prior kit.

Some had speculated that Luong may be the final member of Team Women Fighters, but that's not the case after all considering there was no team reveal in this trailer once again.

She appeared on the Kim Team last time with the titular Kim Kaphwan and her big boy toy Gang-il, so there's a good chance she could end up there again though it's odd SNK would announce her before a staple inclusion like Kim.

It's also funny and on point to see Luong have some interactions with Shermie because I'm sure they'll get along just fine given their fighting styles and sense of fashion.

You can check out Luong's full trailer below as well as some lovely 4K screenshots to go with it.
