First Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass DLC character will be a newcomer releasing in July 2021
During today's Guilty Gear Strive Early Access Showcase, new details about the Season Pass were revealed. Five additional characters will be added to Guilty Gear Strive via the Season Pass.
As mentioned during a recent interview with Daisuke Ishiwatari and Akira Katano, one of the first five DLC characters will be a newcomer to the series, like Giovanna and Nagoriyuki. This first challenger is slated for a July 2021 release window.
The second DLC character of the Season Pass will be a returning fighter from a previous entry in the series. They will be released in August 2021, just one month after the release of the first DLC combatant.
There weren't a lot of details revealed regarding the next three challengers of the Season Pass. We weren't even told if they'd be returning veterans or newcomers, which could imply that at least one of them could be another newcomer.
Those that acquire the Season Pass will also get access to two additional battle stages, an additional color pack and "Another Story." While the five DLC characters, two battle stages and color pack will all be available for individual purchase, Another Story will only be available to those that get the Season Pass.
Arc System Works also intend to release a Combo Maker feature, additional customization features for player match rooms and the Digital Figure Mode for Guilty Gear Strive as free updates.
