CEO 2021 10-game lineup revealed with new trailer welcoming the FGC back into the ring, registration now open
It's Mahvel time once again
After over a year now with no traditional major fighting game tournaments, one of the best events in the FGC is back to throw its hat in the ring for a big return.
Community Effort Orlando 2021 was previously confirmed to going down before the end of the year, and now the full 10-game lineup and registration information for CEO's grand re-entrance has been revealed alongside a new trailer.
The headline games available to play at CEO 2021 includes the following: Guilty Gear Strive, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition, Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Skullgirls 2nd Encore, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Early registration is now available for the tournament with $70 needed to get you in the door plus $10 more for each game entered, which will be capped at 2,500 players for now.
That price will increase to $80 after June and to $90 from November 1–14 while $50 spectator passes are also available for 500 fans.
CEO's signature presentation including their wrestling ring stage will also be making its return as well along with everything else you'd expect from offline majors like a 24-hour free play arcade, casual setups, vendors and more.
As for precautions against COVID-19, all staff will be fully vaccinated though they can only strongly recommend attendees do the same, as they legally are not able to ask for proof.
Masks may be required while inside the venue though these policies may change as we get closer to the event.
Instead of the Daytona Beach, Florida venue used at more recent CEOs, this year will be returning to Orlando, Florida at the Wyndham Orlando Resort with the entire hotel reserved for attendees.
You may need to make up your mind quickly if you plan on attending, however, as over 1,000 players have signed up already in only the first 30 minutes.
CEO 2021 is scheduled to take place December 3–5 with registration information now available on the event's Smash.gg page.
