Nintendo has revealed that the next Nintendo Direct will be coming on June 15, 2021. Fans will want to tune in at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET to learn details about Nintendo Switch software that's mostly scheduled for 2021.

As noted in the image, this Nintendo Direct program is designed for E3 2021's online event. We were previously informed that Nintendo, Capcom and Warner Brothers are expected to have reveals for the yearly event.

The June 15 Nintendo Direct will run for approximately 40 minutes. Following the presentation, Nintendo Treehouse Live will stream 3 hours of gameplay โ€” though we don't know what games will be shown or streamed at the moment.

As is tradition with general Nintendo Directs that happen during the development or DLC cycle of a Super Smash Bros. title, we're expecting a new trailer that reveals the next new challenger that will be entering the fray in the Super Smash Bros. series.

There are only two more characters that have yet to be unveiled for the Fighters Pass Vol. 2. According to Masahiro Sakurai, the development of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's post launch content will conclude after the release of these last two combatants.

At least one new challenger will likely be revealed at the Nintendo Direct. Of course, there's also the possibility that we could get two characters revealed, but it's worth noting that this hasn't happened since E3 2019.

Rumors about some sort of Nintendo Switch Pro have also been running rampant in recent times. According to these rumors, the Nintendo Switch Pro is meant to be an improved version of the Nintendo Switch.

Assuming the rumors to be true, it's possible that the Nintendo Switch Pro is slated to be revealed on June 15, 2021.
