Umbrella's teaser shown off for Skullgirls
At the end of the Skullgirls Championship Series 2021 Summer Blockbuster, a quick teaser for Skullgirls' next character was revealed. Though she was apparently planned for the base roster, players will soon have the opportunity to use Umbrella in Skullgirls.
As the teaser begun, we can see Squigly beating up on Parasoul, Umbrella's older sister. After getting up, Parasoul then calls for help from her younger sister.
Umbrella comes into the fight at swats Squigly away with Hungern, her living umbrella. "Finally, some real action," says Umbrella as this happens.
Following this, Umbrella then takes a seat and begins eating ice cream. This is likely supposed to be Umbrella's taunt in Skullgirls.
It's then revealed that a playable Umbrella Alpha is coming soon on Steam. To partake in this public alpha, a purchase of the Season 1 Pass will be necessary.
The Season 1 Pass for Skullgirls 2nd Encore is priced at $29.99. Annie of the Stars is already available as a DLC character. After Umbrella, there are two more yet to be named fighters that will join Skullgirls 2nd Encore via the Season 1 Pass.
