Justin Wong lists his top 5 fighting games of all time, includes Street Fighter 5

With tons of amazing tournament performances across a myriad of titles and more Evo victories than anyone else on the planet, (by a wide margin) Justin Wong has most certainly carved out a place for himself in the fighting game hall of fame.

As one of the genre's most legendary players, his words and opinions carry quite a bit of weight in the community, and he's very recently shared his thoughts in terms of the top 5 fighting games of all time.

This actually isn't the first time Wong has put such a list forward as he ordered his all time favorites about two years back in a similar video. That said, things have changed as more modern titles (and older ones, for that matter) have been updated in avenues such as gameplay network play experience.

Seeing as Justin has been around in the competitive FGC for more than two decades now, it comes as little surprise that he tends to favor games from older chapters. That said, he kicks off his list with a somewhat surprising call as he puts Street Fighter 5 (a relatively controversial pick even by his own admission) as game number five.

"You guys might hate me for this," he starts, "Street Fighter 5. The current season is so good, it's really good now... so many good characters, the balance is amazing... I know there's been a lot of bad juju with SF5 in the beginning. Season 1, Season 2, sure, it wasn't good... SF5 offline is amazing, online sucks. When you play this game offline at a tournament or casuals, it's a great game."

He has a bit more to say than that, but we'll let you hear it from him and not spoil any more of this list here. Check out Justin Wong's full list and opinions and then hit up the comments to let us know how much you agree or how vehemently you disagree in the comments.
