Evo 2021 Online is set to showcase the talent of the fighting game community across the globe, but we'll be able to see the best of the best compete in person later this year as well.

The organizers of the world's largest fighting game event announced today they'll be returning to Las Vegas, Nevada with the Evo 2021 Showcase featuring the top players of each region battling for their share of the $125,000 prize pool.

Like Evo Online, the Showcase will include five games in total with Guilty Gear Strive, Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate, Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition, Tekken 7 and the recently announced Skullgirls 2nd Encore.

There will be 40 players in total invited to the Evo Showcase, eight for each title, including the winners of each regional final in their respective games

The $125,000 prize pool will be split evenly amongst the games, which means each mainstage event will receive $25,000 to fight over and claim the title of Evo world champion again.

Evo 2021 Showcase is scheduled to take place November 27–28 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. No information has been revealed about in-person spectation options currently.

Those looking to throw their hat into the ring only have a few days left to do so, as Evo Online's registration will close on July 15.
