Tell the Google Assistant to 'go Super Saiyan' and you'll be treated to a cool Dragon Ball Z Easter egg

Goku going Super Saiyan for the first time in preparation for his battle against Frieza was such an iconic moment for Dragon Ball Z fans. It's because of this moment that we have so many different versions of Goku (with different transformations) in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

A nifty Dragon Ball Z Easter egg that pays homage to this sequence was recently added to Google Assistant. Tell Google Assistant to "go Super Saiyan" to be treated to a surprise response.

In some ways, the Dragon Ball Z series is infamous for its... drawn out grunting. It always seems like a Saiyan needs an especially long time to transform the first time as opposed to later attempts.

When Google Assistant is told this command, it will begin making grunt sounds. Strangely, Google Assistant will actually spell out the letters of the grunt sounds.

Once the "transformation" is complete, you should hear an explosion sound. It's been suggested that Google Assistant needs to be set to "US English" as it might not work with "UK English" (via 9 to 5 Google).

Brandon H has uploaded a video that showcases exactly what happens when you give Google Assistant this command. Check it out below:
